Are we born straight or gay? - Making of Me: John Barrowman

- Homosexual men peform like heterosexual women
- John performed in a typical female way, brain performs like a female brain.
- This is decided by the way the brain is organised, which is determined in the middle of pregnancy. This suggests that sexual orientation is hard wired here before birth.
This research shows that sexual orientation is decided during pregnancy.

Camp
I think that camp is a learn't way of a homosexual person. A person can decide to explore their sexuality and be camp or keep their sexuality quiet and lead a "normal" life.

Mis en scene - OCR G322 Sexuality

Lighting
This screenshot shows low lighting in this scene. This shows privateness and how secretive she is  of what she is doing. She is challenging the stereotypical feminine straight woman.

Costume
This screenshot shows how the women in the Victorian times would always be well dressed. This reinforces the feminine stereotype.

Location
This screenshot shows the location, this video is set in the countryside which indicates the people in the scene are working class.

Facial Expression
This screenshot shows the woman's facial expression, her face is neutral. This shows that she is anxious of what will happen next. Her facial expression also shows that she is hiding away her sexuality.
